Terms & Conditions – Sky Store – Mario Brothers Voucher Competition (the “Promotion”) Eligibility 1. This promotion is open to residents of UK, Isle of Man and Channel Island, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. 2. Employees (or members of their immediate families, including any live-in partner or household member) of any Sky UK Limited company (“Sky”), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter the Promotion. Entry Period 3. This Promotion opens at 10:00 on Friday 14th July 2023 and closes at 18:00 on Sunday 16th July 2023. All entries must be received within these dates and times to be eligible (the “Promotional Period”). Entry Requirements 4. No purchase necessary. To enter this Promotion, all you need to do is scan the QR code in Sky Battersea Power Station store and enter the required details on the microsite during the Promotional Period. 5. A maximum of 1 entry per person over the Promotional Period. 6. Entries sent in through agents, third parties, websites or multiple accounts will be disqualified. Entries that contain any sexual, offensive, inappropriate or defamatory content will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will also be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to not award prizes if qualifying criteria is not met and the right to select replacement entry into the competition element of the Promotion. Winner Selection and prizes 7. The first 3 customers to enter the promotion each day will win 1 x Mario Brothers branded hat. The following 10 customers who enter the promotion will each win 1 x Mario Brothers tote bag. These prizes will be distributed in person on the day of the promotion. 8. Once the promotional period is complete, 40 winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entrants to win a Sky Store voucher to the value of £13.99. The Sky Store voucher will be sent via email to the email address provided at the time of entry. Winners will receive notification of winning and their prize code within 28 days of entry. 9. If the winner chooses not to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant. 10. The prize does not include any other service or item not specifically described above. 11. The Sky Store £13.99 Voucher may be redeemed at Sky Store to credit your account with £13.99. Sky Store Vouchers may only be redeemed and spent on either the Sky Store website located at www.skystore.com, or on the Sky Store app on your compatible Roku box or Android device. The Sky Store £13.99 Voucher cannot be used for purchases made on a Sky+HD box or a Sky Q box. However, Buy & Keep purchases made using redeemed Vouchers can be sent to your box. Send to Sky Box’ is not available on rental titles. 13. To redeem a Voucher, you must have a SkyiD account and have accepted Sky Store terms and conditions. These terms apply in addition to Sky Store terms and conditions and in the event of any conflict, these terms prevail. 14. The Sky Store £13.99 Voucher is guaranteed within the promotional period dates. Once expired, the Voucher will be invalid and cannot be extended, replaced or refunded. It is not replaceable if lost or stolen and no refund will be given. • To redeem online: • Simply go to www.skystore.com/redeem • Enter your Voucher code and click ‘Redeem’ • Sign up or sign in (you don’t have to be a Sky TV customer) • Choose your movie and watch online, on your favourite devices or select DVD or Blu-ray to receive a copy in the post too. 15. When redeemed, the Voucher will credit your account with a value in the local currency and all purchases will be made using your available balance. When you make a purchase, the cost will be deducted from the value held in your account and if there is any difference between the cost of the purchase and the value in your account, you will need to pay this amount. 16. Once added to your account, you will have 12 months in which to use your credit balance before the balance is removed from your account. Any unused balances are not redeemable for cash or transferable and will not be returned to you (unless we are required to by law). 17. Each Sky Store £13.99 Voucher is considered to have been redeemed once successfully applied to the account on Sky Store. Each Voucher may only be used once, repeated attempts to use the same Voucher will not be successful. You cannot re-load or top-up Vouchers. 18. The Sky Store £13.99 Voucher is for your own personal, non-commercial use. There is no cash alternative; Sky Store £13.99 Voucher is not transferable and may not be re-sold. 19. The Sky Store £13.99 Voucher remains the property of Sky UK Limited. 20. Sky is not responsible for any Vouchers that are lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. 21. Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winner to notify them of the prize and, if you are the winner, we may pass them on to third parties to deliver the prize. 23. If entrants choose to opt-in to hear more about Sky, their entry data will be used to contact them about offers, news, products and services they might like. Entrants are not required to opt-in to take part in the promotion. 24. If you are a winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use your surname, county and winning entry for post-event publicity purposes without additional remuneration. You can object to this publication or ask for less information to be published or made available by contacting us through the “Contact us” link on the Sky website. If you object, this will not affect your entry into the competition, but we may still be required to provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. 26. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. 27. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. 28. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond the Promoter’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier. 29. The terms and conditions of any other third-party supplier associated with the Promotion will also apply to the prize where applicable (for example, the provider of an event or experience). If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence. 30. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control. 31. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified. 32. The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter, other entrants or Sky staff which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant. 33. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion. 34. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this promotion.
